That's right, more year-in-review! I am bound and determined to catch up on all my belated LJ posting (yes including the rest of Dragon*Con!).

1. Flamin' fuzzy feet
2. Baby chicken hat
3. Ribbed baby hats
4. Circular baby blanket
5. Knitted lightsaber
6. Pennyblossoms x infinity
7. Bring It On: Rock the Mouse ornaments
8. Baby Jayne hats x 3
9. Wee mitten ornaments (Christmas)
10. Encompass circular scarf (Christmas)
11. Chastain Park shawl (Christmas)
12. I Love the Niners shawl (Christmas)
13. Giants fleece hats (Christmas)

1. Flaming Fuzzy Feet, for [livejournal.com profile] sirrogue.
I love Fuzzy Feet. I've made...oh, about eight pairs over the years. I'd made Rogue a pair of royal purple ones, but eventually he wore them out beyond repair. He'd expressed appreciation for the bitchin' flames socks and hat I'd made Sean, so I decided to make him some flaming slippers of his own. :) (Rav page for those on there.)

2. Baby chicken hat, for J&J's baby.
My BFF from grad school, Jessie, collects chickens. (Er, figurines and stuff like that, not actual live chickens.) So when she had her first baby, naturally I had to make her little boy a wee chicken hat. (Rav page.)

3. Ribbed baby hats
I actually made a couple of these, one for my cousin Katie, another for a colleague of Rogue's. They are ridiculously fast and easy, very cute, and will fit most babies from infancy until toddlerhood. What's not to like? (Rav page.)

4. Circular baby blanket (Sunny Days at Sea), for my cousin Katie's baby
Easy knit and fantastic result. Colors chosen to match little Jack's nursery (best colors for a baby boy ever, y/y?). (Rav page.)

5. Wee Green Knitsaber, also for Katie's baby
Katie's husband is a huuuuge Star Wars geek, so of course I had to make his baby a lightsaber. Turned out he was already planning to go as Dagobah Luke for Halloween, with Jack as Yoda-- so the knitsaber was perfect! (Rav page.)

6. One Million Pennyblossoms
Okay, more like 60. Still. That's a lot of Pennyblossoms. 46 sales on Etsy so far!

7. Bring It On: Rock the Mouse ornaments
Belated (very belated!) thank you presents for all the members of 2009's Disney Cheerleading Comic-Con Masquerade skit. Character picture on one side, logo on the other, pom-poms for mouse ears.

8. Baby Jayne hats, for Elise's, Julie R's, and Julie A's babies.
All my Firefly-loving friends get one of these for their babies! (Or at least I try!) (Rav page.)

And now, Christmas knitting & sewing!

9. Wee Mitten ornaments, for my mom & my work Secret Santa
Awesome use for leftover sock yarn! Fiddly, but so adorable. (Rav page.)

10. Encompass circular scarf, for Mom
I was all over this pattern like white on rice the second the Yarn Harlot released it. It's fluffy and squishy and gorgeous-- but a leetle bit short around. Hers turned out 60" around and mine was only 48". Shoulda added a repeat! I wouldn't have thought that using a different chunky alpaca yarn would make such a difference, but at least one other person on Rav (using the same yarn as me) reported the same thing. Ah well-- such is the price for being one of the first to try a new pattern! Hopefully it'll still work for Mom. (Rav page.)

11. Chastain Park shawl, for Nanny (Rogue's grandma)
Rogue requested "a little knitted thing" for Nanny's gift this year. I thought this fit the bill just fine! Simple pattern, but lovely result. I made it somewhat bigger than the pattern specifies. (Rav page.)

12. I Love the Niners shawl, for my mother-in-law
My MIL Gail *loves* her San Francisco 49ers, so I thought she might like something to wrap up in while watching their games on Sundays. Easy pattern, but WOW, a lot of stitches at the end, especially after the increase for the ruffle. I like the result though! (Rav page.)

13. Giants fleece hats, for Rogue and his stepdad
I found some great Giants fleece while fabric shopping, and bought half a yard without really knowing what I was going to make from it. Then I found this awesome fleece hat tutorial online, and that was that! Easy as pie, although I did have to make the band 2" longer than the author suggests. They were a hit! (This was a big year for Giants-themed gifts, obv.)
